Results of the Essay Competition
On 18 April 2017 in the premises of the law firm Asters took place the awarding ceremony based on the results of the IV Ukrainian Essay Competition in International Commercial Arbitration. To announce the results and congratulate the winners were invited Olena Perepelynska, President of Ukrainian Arbitration Association and Yaroslav Petrov, Secretary General and UAA Board Member.
Ukrainian Essay Competition in International Commercial Arbitration is the annual competition held in English and jointly organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association Students’ League and Ukrainian Arbitration Association.
This year the contestants explored the subject of contemporary problems of ethics in international arbitration. They showed the high level of comprehensive knowledge in this sphere.
According to the Competition’s results:
I prize goes to Ievgeniy Ganzha. The winner obtained an opportunity to do a one month paid internship at the INTEGRITES international law firm, "Dispute Resolution" practice, and received a cash prize of 2,000 hryvnas. Moreover, he has the right to become a candidate for membership in the NGO "Ukrainian Arbitration Association", free of the entrance and annual fees payment.
II prize goes to Oleksandra Polyakova.The awardee obtained an opportunity to do a one month paid internship at the leading Ukrainian/international law firm, "Dispute Resolution" practice, and received a cash prize of 1,000 hryvnas. Moreover, she has the right to become a candidate for membership in the NGO "Ukrainian Arbitration Association", free of the entrance and annual fees payment.
III prize shared Yuliia Ivankiv and Kurian Mariia, who has received a set of literature on international commercial arbitration and the right to become a candidate for membership in the NGO "Ukrainian Arbitration Association", free of the entrance and annual fees payment.
