Current Trends in Arbitration Laws and Rules. Warsaw. Poland

The Centre for Dispute Resolution at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw invites you to an international conference on “Current Trends in Arbitration Laws and Rules” taking place on 12 February 2014 at the University of Warsaw.

A number of jurisdictions have recently experienced changes in their arbitration laws. At the same time, several arbitration institutions have adopted new rules. How do these new regulations impact the arbitration practice? Are they fundamental changes or merely cosmetic? How do national law-makers strive to become the most modern and “arbitration-friendly”? How do arbitration institutions compete with one another and react to current challenges? What are the most current trends and international standards in arbitration regulations?

Those and many other questions will be addressed by prominent conference speakers from a number of countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine.

There is no conference fee. The conference is open to everyone subject to prior registration at conference.warsaw@gmail.com.
