Ukrainian VIS PRE-MOOT

Ukrainian Arbitration Association invites young arbitration practitioners to participate in Ukrainian Vis Pre-Moot.

Ukrainian Vis Pre-Moot is organized with the support of Vasil Kisil and Partners Law Firm in partnership with UAA, ICAC at the UCCI and is set of practice rounds for the Ukrainian and foreign teams participating in the 26th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. These will be 2 days of practice rounds (Saturday-Sunday), preceded by a half-day event focusing on international arbitration issues raised in the 26th Vis Moot Problem – powers of the Arbitral Tribunal and admissibility of evidence in international arbitration (Friday afternoon).

The arbitration rules applicable to Vis Problem are the Rules of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

Volunteers for an Arbitrator role (on Saturday 16 or Sunday 17 March) are welcome. To sign up, please complete the arbitrators' registration form, indicating your availability. The deadline for registration is 1 March 2019 and organizers will be in touch with all volunteers by 7 March 2019.

Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association.Read more
